    My first 300

    Friday, December 22, 2006, 08:45 AM [General]

It was a typically Tuesday night that I just grab my stuff and go to the center and hope to have a good night. Well, it actually turned out to be more than that! My team was bowling a blind and we were in the middle of the house which is usually for some odd reason the most comfortable for me, and as lead off I didn't really think about bowling a perfect until about the ninth frame and I was just like well maybe I have a shot. Well it got to be the tenth and the nerves starting kicking in and I was shaking like a March leaf! After the first ball in the tenth, I started thinking about my dad who just passed away two weeks to the day prior to this event. Needless to say, I was extremely emotional but I pulled it off!! Wow! was the first word out of mouth after I fell to the floor in amazement. Two guys on team came upon the approach to lift me up and tell that I could breath now! What a night. Could not have haappened at a better time to help me through the pain that I was experiencing.

Just wanted to share my first 300 with you that are here. I love bowling because it is such a great outlet for me and I have made some good friends doing it.
